A Spine-Chilling Scavenger Hunt Is About To Go Down In NY & LA

In case you haven’t heard, a series of spooky Craigslist ads swept the country last week, offering a free nightstand to whoever dared to respond. Inside was found a collection of unsettling oddities: an old polaroid with a lurking shadowy figure, the words “Don’t think it, Don’t say it” scribbled on the drawer liner and “The Bye Bye Man” scratched into the wood.

While the Craigslist ads have since been taken down, a scavenger hunt to find the remaining two nightstands is set to begin in New York and Los Angeles today at 5pm EST/2pm PST. So put on your Sherlock Holmes hat and whip out your magnifying glass because the first person in each city to find the nightstand will win an undisclosed cash prize (trust us, it’s enough to pay off those holiday bills).
