The working life is tough—it's hard to stay on the grind and spend so much time away from the people you love! So when big companies like Google do something amazing to reward an ADORABLE letter from one of their hardworking employee's little daughters, it's definitely worth talking about. Way to go, Google, and way to go, little girl!
This is the letter that one girl wrote to Google on behalf of her father. It was his birthday, and since he only got one day off of work a week, she thought she needed to take matters into her own hands and get him some much earned time off.
The letter: "Dear google worker, Can you please make sure wehn daddy goes to work, he gets one day off like he can get a doff on Wednesday. Because daddy ONLY gets a day off on Saturday. From, Katie P.S. It is daddy's BIRTHDAY! P.P.S. It is summer, you know." COULD THAT BE ANY CUTER!?
The really amazing part came from Google's reply, though. Daniel Shiplacoff was Katie's father's supervisor, and after receiving the note, sent this letter back in response.
Shiplacoff spoke highly of Katie's father and his work ethic, and has confirmed that he is going to follow through with his offer. What an AWESOME birthday gift!
