There's A Real-Life 'American Horror Story' Coming To Universal Studios
A-maze-ing or bloody terrifying?
In case "American Horror Story" doesn't give you enough of a scare when you watch it on TV, now you can actually experience it IRL (you know, besides the whole murder part). Universal Studios is opening up an "AHS"-themed maze for its annual Halloween Horror Nights event so we can all be spooked out of our damn minds.
" 'American Horror Story' has been the number-one requested maze from our guests and we're excited to let them know that we listened to them and are bringing 'American Horror Story' to life," John Murdy, Creative Director at Universal Studios Hollywood, said.
Well, it seems like fans will certainly be in for a bone-chilling scare this Halloween season. The FX series is known for its gore and twisted plot lines, and now they'll actually get to know what it's like stepping into Murder House where you're surrounded by freaky AF ghosts flying at your face. As a die-hard "AHS" fan, even I'm a little afraid by what exactly this park has to offer...
The park features three installments from the show's fives seasons.
"Murder House" from season one...
..."Freak Show" from season four...
...and "Hotel" from season five.
According to a press release, it will be one giant "uber-maze."
"For the first time ever, guests will venture through Ryan Murphy's groundbreaking horror anthology, encountering a plethora of iconic scenes and memorable characters designed to jolt them to their very core. Twisted scenes from Murder House will unleash the evil spirits that possess the Harmon estate, spiraling guests through decades of the tortured dead who previously resided there. In Freak Show , guests will join a troupe of biological misfits in a sinister sideshow where they'll be stalked by the murderous and deformed Twisty the Clown. Finally, guests will succumb to the warped desires of The Countess after checking in to the haunted Hotel Cortez, conceived from the beginning as a torture chamber for its customers."
IDK what I'd do if I came face to face with Twisty the clown, because he's already haunted my nightmares enough.

The maze will run in both the Hollywood and Orlando locations from Sept. 16 to Oct. 31. The mysterious sixth season of the show premieres on Sept. 14, so expect lots of screams this Halloween season.
