Women Are Raving About Weed Tampons, But Do They Work?

There's nothing worse than painful period cramps. You know, the kind that make you want to curl up in a ball and cancel all of your social plans. Foria, the makers of marijuana lube, have also created cannabis vaginal suppositories to help rid of painful cramps during your cycle. Called "Foria Relief," the suppository contains three natural ingredients: organic cocoa butter, CO2-extracted cannabis oil and a cannabidiol (CBD) isolate. Basically, they get your va-jay-jay stoned so you don't feel those horrible cramp things. 

When you put the tampon in, the ingredients activate cannabinoid receptors in your pelvic region, causing nerves in your uterus, cervix and ovaries to block the pain, according to The Hearty Soul .

While your vagina is enjoying the weed effects, it doesn't get you high, though. According to its website, "Foria Relief has been carefully crafted to maximize the muscle relaxing and pain relieving properties of cannabis without a psychotropic (high) effect." 

Right now, Foria Relief is only available in California and Colorado where weed is legal. You can buy a 4-pack of suppositories for $44, but TBH, it seems worth it.
