Did Kylie Jenner Rip-Off This YouTuber's Eye Shadow Palette?
Welp, that didn't take long.
Kylie Jenner just released her first-ever eye shadow palette and the internet lost its damn mind. Hot off the success of her Lip Kits, it was no surprise that Kylie's bronze KyShadow palette sold out in literally one minute—she even gave a Snapchat tutorial on how to layer the different shadows! But of course, it wouldn't be a true Kardashian success without some komplications. Instead of people complaining about the product like they did with her Lip Kits, people are saying her eyeshadow palette isn't completely authentic.
Kylie is being accused of ripping off a popular YouTuber's eyeshadow palette.
New Zealand-based beauty blogger, Shannon (Shaaanxo) tweeted a side-by-side pic of Kylie's palette and her own... which yes, look p. identical.
Just to compare, Shannon's palette is $11 whereas Kylie's version is $42. Yikes.
It didn't take long for the internet to express their shock over how similar the palettes look.
Others think it was just a coincidence and people need to chill TF out.
Either way, Kylie is restocking her bronze palette tomorrow and she says that two new palettes are on the way. Haters can GTFO or just take advantage of Shannon's cheaper (and perhaps better) version of KyShadow.
