22 Actors Who Will Make You Say "Hey! It's That Guy...From That Thing!"

Remember the movie game? The one where you name an actor and a movie he's in and then your friends have to name other actors in that movie? That game is hard, and the only people who truly dominate it are those who can remember the names of niche character actors that the rest of us simply know as "that guy...in that thing."

Well, we're here to help refresh your memory on the names of these "that guy" actors and show your friends who's boss. At the very least, you won't have to resort to google next time you're watching a show and think, "Who is that guy? He looks SO familiar."

Oh man, it's that guy! Dexter's dad and Samantha's douchey boyfriend on "Sex And The City!"

That dude from "The Princess Bride" is also the voice of Rex in "Toy Story?" Inconceivable! 

I know that guy! He always plays the scary creep or the mad scientist in movies like "The Incredible Hulk," "Holes," and "O Brother, Where Art Thou?"

Ooh! It's Hollywood's go-to Middle Eastern guy and/or doctor! I think I've seen him in "Mr. Deeds," "Heroes," and "The Mummy." 

Nope, it's not Michael Sheen. It's that dude who plays Gollum, among other things.

I've definitely seen his weird little face before. He played Truman Capote in "Infamous," Karl Rove in "W." and Claudius Templesmith in "The Hunger Games."

Aw man, that guy is always up to no good. I'm pretty sure he plays some kind of bad guy in "Breaking Bad," "Machete," and "Sons of Anarchy."

Does this guy always play the gay best friend, or have I just seen "Best In Show" too many times?

Thaaat guy! He's in basically everything, but I remember him best from "Barbershop," "Crash," and "7th Heaven."

OMG, it's that guy from "Office Space!" His name is Gary Cole? That's a little too close to Gary Coleman. He's also in "Veep" and "Dodgeball."

Oh yeah, that bumbling dude with a goofy voice. He's been on pretty much every TV show since the mid-90s, including "Curb Your Enthusiasm," "Mad About You," and "Scrubs." 

Love that dude! He's Cher's dad in "Clueless" and Monk's dad in "Monk." Other creds include "Cheers" and "Joe Versus The Volcano."

Ah yes, the classically handsome but otherwise unremarkable guy who was always on TV in the early 2000's. You probably remember him as Mary's boyfriend on "7th Heaven" or Eddie Latekka on "October Road."

Yes, he's the guy from "The Green Mile," but he's also the guy from "Sin City," "Planet of The Apes," and "Daredevil."

It's Pheobe Buffay's dad! This guy has become pretty hip with roles in "Girls," "Moonrise Kingdom," "Ghost World," and "Broad City" (he's Ilana's dad, too!).

I totally remembered this guy as Piz on "Veronica Mars" and the surfer dude on "Private Practice" before he showed up in movies like "Up In The Air" and "The Help."

Frankie from "Boy Meets World!" He has a long list of credits including "American History X," "My Name Is Earl," and "Remember The Titans."

Who could forget that face? No doubt you remember him from "Spider Man 2," "Anchorman 2," or "Revolutionary Road."
