DIY Spiked Fla-Vor-Ice Popsicles Are Summer's Most Refreshing Treat
Your childhood self's favorite summer treat gets a very grownup upgrade.
As a kid, one of the best parts of the summer was definitely the fruity Fla-Vor-Ice popsicles. And as an adult, one of the best parts of the summer is definitely the booze. These throwback popsicles combine the best of both worlds.
These colorful pops are a delicious coconut cocktail in popsicle form, and they're super simple to make.
Just blend up your ingredients*, divide and add food coloring.
This particular recipe recommends:
4 ounces gin
4 ounces Triple Sec
1 cup pineapple juice
2 cups coconut milk (from the carton, not the can)
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup sugar
1/8 teaspoon kosher salt
But you can also make any cocktail blend you like!
And freeze in these familiar sleeves!
These handy sleeves have a zip top that will keep all the boozy deliciousness inside.
They won't freeze completely (because of the booze) but the creamy slush will be just as refreshing as you remember!
