Here's All The Gaming News You Need To Know Out Of E3
Crash Bandicoot is finally making his long-awaited comeback.
E3, the game industry's biggest annual event, just wrapped up in Los Angeles, and there was A LOT of awesome announcements. From Crash Bandicoot's comeback to a brand new Legend of Zelda game, gamers have a lot to look forward to. Here are the top six highlights, in no particular order, and a contest for anyone who uses Razer's equipment.
The Ultimate Gaming Party Giveaway
Razer is joining Carl's Jr. to celebrate their 75th Anniversary, with an amazing prize package giveaway. Crash is back!
Arguably the biggest news out of E3 is that Sony's favorite character, Crash Bandicoot, is returning to PlayStation! We'll soon be getting remastered versions of "Crash Bandicoot," "Crash Bandicoot 2" and "Crash Bandicoot Warped" for Playstation 4. Crash will also pop up in the newest Skylanders game. Now all we need is remasters of Spyro and I'll be a very happy 90s gamer.
Spidey swings into Playstation 4
In another exciting Sony announcement, we're getting a brand new Spiderman game exclusively for Playstation 4. Developed by Insomniac games, there's no word just yet on when the webslinger will be available, but there is a trailer, and it's awesome.
Put on the Cowl with Batman Arkham VR
Developed by Rocksteady, the studio that brought us the Arkham trilogy, Batman Arkham VR puts players in Batman's place as he solves the brutal murder of Nightwing. The game will be available on Playstation VR on Oct. 13 of this year. Watch the trailer—The Joker will legitimately freak you out.
Link is back for a new adventure!
"The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" is the first open world game in the Zelda series and it looks beautiful. The game will be available on Wii U and the new platform NX, which has yet to be announced. You can't miss the beautiful new trailer.
Xbox One S
The newest version of Microsoft's console isn't hugely different from the Xbox One. It's 40 percent smaller and a standard cable replaces the giant power brick. The new Xbox does have a bit more processing power to support High Dynamic Range gaming and will be a 4K Blu-Ray player. Still no 4K gaming, but hey, who has a 4K TV anyway?
Pokémon Go release date!
You'll soon be able to catch Pokémon in the real world. The highly anticipated Pokémon Go will be released for both iOS and Android phones next month. Check out 45 minutes of impressive gameplay footage.
