Summer is finally here, and for most of us, that means temperatures that make you want to sit in a pool of ice 24/7. Since that's not realistic for most people, the rest of us have to resort to dressing in a way that allows us to cool off easily, which often means very little clothing.
For many years, the mantra for dudes once the sun comes out has been #SunsOutGunsOut, which is great, because tank tops + nice arms =😍😍
More recently though, an even better mantra has emerged: #SkysOutThighsOut. That's right, dudes have ended the tyrannical rule of overly-long and baggy shorts that may as well be dude capris, and have embraced the 70s basketball shorts look, and the world is a far better place for it.
The trend may have started as a joke...part of a themed costume party that got out of hand...
But then dudes started to realize how great it was to have our thighs liberated from horrible rule of pants.
And then, for anyone unsure if it was ok, Chubbies came along...
Chubbies showed dudes how not to be ashamed of our thighs! To embrace them!
You should be ashamed of vacuuming the lawn though, but that's a whole other issue.
Eventually, dudes everywhere were embracing thighs that weren't milky white, because they finally got to see the light of the sun.
We started to realize that it's our patriotic duty to let those boys breath!
Rugby players (and those of us who love rugby players) have known the joy of the short short for years...
Just proof to always pay attention to the rugby player in your life. They know what's up.
Short shorts are great for all occasions!
They're especially good for buying 144 Krispy Kreme donuts. Though, really, there's no BAD way to dress to buy 144 Krispy Kreme donuts.

It just took some time off, and we're now realizing what a mistake it was to abandon it.
But now we've come back to our senses! And we know that short shorts are best, and they're better in groups!
