Little Girl Gets The Royal Surprise Of Her Life At Adoption Hearing
Ohana means family, and family means nobody is left behind or forgotten
Disney teaches us a lot about family.
Many Disney princesses grown up without their parents or are in compromised family units. Along with the importance of appreciating family, their stories teach us how to navigate through those situations.
For five-year-old Danielle Koning, family seemed to only exist in her beloved Disney princess films— that is, until she met her foster family in 2014. This week they finalized the adoption of their princess and the hearing could not have been more magical.
The family anxiously waited to begin the hearing.
Danielle didn't know about the surprise, but like a true princess, she dressed up in a sparkly purple "Sofia the First" gown, complete with magic wand.
The first princess to arrive was Snow White—aka Judge Gardner.
She even brought an apple! The judge was the original princess but word got around and soon everyone was scrambling to find a tiara to make Danielle's day as royal as possible.
After introducing herself as Snow White, the judge told Danielle "Before we start, I brought some special friends. Would you like to meet them?"
The princesses filed in one by one (eight in total), all of them taking Danielle by surprise.
If this wasn't already cute enough, the princesses were employees from the Samaritas Foster Program. This team of pros nurtured and Danielle throughout her foster care experience.
And LOOK how happy they are that she's finally with her forever family!
Danielle was totally surprised to see all of the princesses she loved both on screen and off screen.

TONS of people showed up for the Konings' special day with surprises and presents fit for royalty.
The Samaritas team regularly puts on events like this to make the adoption experience memorable and special.
After the adoption was finalized, Danielle got a photo and a big party with all of her princess friends.
Literally every adoption is this magical, with or without princesses.
Danielle and her family are now OFFICIALLY a family, and they're set to live happily ever after.
