Neither Instagram Nor Your Tastebuds Can Handle #CoffeeInACone
Your favorite beverage and your favorite dessert in one.
When it's too cold for ice cream in a cone, there's only one solution.
Put coffee in the cone instead!
And that's exactly what The Grind Coffee Company of Johannesburg, South Africa did.
Dayne Levinrad coined the term and patented the creation which is now said to be the most-Instagrammed beverage out there.
After studying coffee culture and consumption, Dayne decided to combine the "trifecta" that he knew people loved: coffee, ice cream and chocolate.
Unfortunately standard chocolate-coated waffle cones are too thin to hold the coffee so they tinkered with the recipe themselves until they found the perfect one.
Now they make the cones themselves using four layers of different chocolate that helps slow the melting process (and infuses a delicious flavor in the process).
Still, customers only have about 10 minutes to drink their coffee before it becomes hazardous (and when you factor in Instgramming time, it's even less)
So if you can't get to South Africa to try the famous #CoffeeInACone yourself, you can try to make your own, but be ready to move fast!
