This Self-Trained Makeup Artist Will Make You Rethink All Of Your Talents
These looks are beautifully bizarre.
Makeup artists are known for using their talents to break barriers and stray from the norm. Sixteen-year-old Melbourne, Australia native Lara Wirth is one such artist. The self-taught special effects lover started creating creepy characters at the age of 14, and has since then blossomed into a full-fledged creative force just two years later.
Wirth draws inspiration from everywhere. She creates dark and twisted versions of existing characters, or develops entirely new ones with detailed back stories. It can take her as little as two-to-three hours to execute the prosthetics, face makeup and body paint for one of her creatures. The artistic talent hopes to work in the music industry one day, and these creations prove that she's well on her way.
