Sheep Go On A Weed-Fueled Rampage On Tiny Welsh Town
How high are ewe? Drugs are ba-a-a-a-a-a-d. Can't stop, wool-n't stop. They're going on a ram-page!
No one really knows what to do when animals get stoned.
Some animals are known to get drunk off of marula fruit, but animals usually don't get stoned or intoxicated unless it's on accident. But here's how one Welsh town reacted to a bunch of sheep getting stoned.
Sheep are super derpy as it is, but for the little village of Rhydypandy the derpiness transformed into pure madness.
According to the Daily Mail, the sheep accidentally ate some marijuana that was illegally dumped in the village from an old abandoned marijuana factory.
The old marijuana factory has been causing problems for the village for some time now, as reports indicate that last year sheep got high from dumped marijuana and were so stoned that many of them wandered into the street and got hit by cars.
Local authorities were unsure how much marijuana the sheep had consumed and also how the sheep would react to cannabis.
Are sheep chill stoners? Do they get paranoid? What about munchies?
Except instead of being chill and lazy like every stoner ever, the sheep went on a hyper, uncontrollable stampede.
Not even "Baa ram ewe!" can help us now! According to the Mirror, a 2014 case in Surrey had stoned sheep that were chill and "woolly headed", so maybe different strains have different effects on sheep.
The stoner sheep are taking over the town and acting like they own the place. There have been complaints of stoned sheep breaking into people's houses and yards, confusingly pooping EVERYWHERE.
The faded sheep also aren't paying attention to where they're going and because they're roaming through the streets they are causing CAR ACCIDENTS.
Local authorities are scrambling to control the group of sheep that have gotten high, but also prevent the rest of the flock from getting high.
A big problem facing the authorities is that they don't know where all of the dumped marijuana is, so there could be a lot more pot that the sheep could get to before the police can confiscate it, making the high ride last longer.
The only option, at this point, is to wait it out and hope that the sheep will eventually get the munchies and chill out.
