Woman's 1994 Disney World Ticket Grants Her Admission 22 Years Later
Disney World officially just became the nicest place on Earth. Who said keeping all of your old junk wouldn't pay off one day?
Could you imagine going to Disney World for free?
Imagine going through a box of old things and finding an old ticket to The Happiest Place on Earth. Memories both good and bad would come back, marking a monumental moment in any kid's (or kid at heart's) life. Imagine if that ticket to Disney World was never used and didn't have an expiration date listed.
For Chelsea Herline, life turned out just too good to be true. Chelsea was able to get into the happiest place on earth when her dad found a ticket from 1994 that had not been used.
According to Today, Chelsea's family had purchased a four-day park hopper ticket on a vacation back when she was four, but was unable to go to the park on the last day because she was sick.
On a trip to Orlando, Chelsea decided to see if the ticket could still be exchanged for a day of fun and ~magic.~
Since the ticket was unused and had no expiration date, the Disney staff was super cool about letting her use the ticket.
Even though the ticket says it'll admit one child, they couldn't help but to admit a child at heart. I mean, look at that little face.
Chelsea says she wasn't actually expecting to actually go to Disney World that day.
She ended up spending about four hours at the park and got on all of her favorite rides by herself.
Chelsea was able to reunite with some of her favorite childhood characters.
"I think Disney World makes everyone feel nostalgic," says Chelsea, "They remember the times they had at Disney because it's a magical place."
Next time you end up not using a ticket, make sure you hang on tight to the priceless memory.
