Adam Sandler Just Met His Real Life Doppelganger In The Best Way Possible
This is probably one of the most surreal coincidences that could ever happen.
Celebrities really are just like us.
No need to tell that to Max Kessler, a real-life reddit user who happens to look exactly like Adam Sandler. What's more, Max Kessler is the name of Sandler's character in his upcoming movie "The Do-Over." How's that for a weird coincidence? Kessler posted a side-by-side pic of himself and Adam Sandler on reddit., and the resemblance really is uncanny.
What started out as an amusing reddit post soon became a viral phenomenon and Sandler himself even joined in the fun.
In April, real-life Adam Sandler lookalike Max Kessler posted this photo to reddit.
Honestly, these just look like press photos from a hypothetical Sandler movie where he has to go back to high school...wait, didn't he make one of those?
Here's where it gets even more surreal. The top-rated comment on the photo was posted by none other than Adam Sandler himself. How do I know? Because Sandler included a picture of himself for verification.
Say what you will about his movies, but Adam Sandler really knows how to get fans excited. I would be freaking out if this happened to me.
Like any reasonable person, Kessler replied to Sandler's comment with a picture of his own.
The face perhaps isn't quite as good, but he gets serious points for trying.
Once again, Sandler replied—this time with an exciting offer.
Did Sandler really invite his reddit lookalike to a movie premiere on reddit? Miracles really do happen.
Kessler (of course) took Sandler up on the invite. Here are the two goony lookalikes at the "The Do-Over" premiere.
Sandler reportedly even flew Kessler out to the premiere. No word yet on how Kessler felt about the movie, but I'm sure standing side-by-side with his celebrity doppelganger was excitement enough.
