This Leak Confirms That a Major Character is Returning to Star Wars
The source of all our daddy issues is coming back for another film.
This is Darth Vader, heavy breather extraordinaire.
For those living under a rock, Darth Vader was the villain in the original Star Wars trilogy. He is actually Anakin Skywalker, a kid from Tatooine. The movies in the prequel trilogy document Vader going from cute blonde kid to major evil dude. By the time of the most recent Star Wars movie, "The Force Awakens," Vader is dead and his grandson, Kylo Ren, is trying to live up to his evil grandfather's legacy.
With the first Star Wars anthology film, "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" headed to theaters later this year, there was some question if Darth Vader would appear...
The film, which comes out in December, takes place right before "Star Wars: A New Hope," the first-ever Star Wars movie released. The story revolves around a group of rebel spies who are on a mission to steal the plans for the Death Star—the same plans that Darth Vader is tasked with in "A New Hope."
Well, thanks to the new preview of "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story The Official Visual Story Guide," it's pretty obvious that good ole' Darthy will be back.
German website Jedi-Bibliothek spotted the image when the book was previewed by edelweiss. Pictures have since been removed from their website for obvious reasons, but this still seems to be a clear sign that Darth will make an appearance in the film come this December.
