We All Deserve A Mom As Fearless As This Real-Life Mother Goose
It's so honkin' cute.
A real-life fairy tale played out in Cincinnati, Ohio yesterday.
A mother goose started tap, tap, tapping on a cop car's door to get the police officers' attention.
Sergeant James Givens told WKRC that the worried momma bird "kept pecking and pecking and normally they don't come near us. Then it walked away ... so I followed it and it led me right over to [a gosling] that was tangled up in all that string."
The baby bird was caught up in balloon string near the side of a busy highway. Sgt. Givens and Specialist Cecilia Charron tried calling SPCA first, but when they were too busy to respond quickly, Charron took the struggling birdy into her own hands.
The worried mother goose stood aside as Charron gingerly untangled the mess of string around its legs and continuously honked until her baby was free.
