This Monkey Emoji Debate Is 'The Dress' All Over Again
One monkey or three different ones?!
You know these little guys: 🙈 🙉 🙊
The first is my go-to embarrassment emoji, the second is reserved for when my neighbors are having loud sex and I don't know that I've ever used the third, but you get the point. They're familiar.
On the evening of May 9, 2016 these guys became the subject of perhaps the most polarizing question in monkey history:
The debate quickly got quite heated
Some got philosophical
Even The Donald "weighed in:"
He was wrong according to academics—no surprises there.
And the extremely credible source, @OnlyMonkeyEmoji, confirmed he is in fact one monkey in three poses.
Of course, the debate rages on. And despite my glaring response of: "WHO GIVES TWO FUCKS?" it will rage on until the Internet can find something else to argue about.
