It's Only A Matter Of Time Before Whole Foods Starts Selling This Bottled Air
These guys are actually making money out of thin air.
What started as a "Spaceballs" joke in 1987 is now a reality.
Air pollution in China has increased so drastically in recent years that a Canadian company has started literally selling canned air.
Vitality Air is truly cashing in on thin air to the tune of $32 per 8L bottle—which provides about 150 inhalations.
The air is bottled in two remote locations in Canada, Lake Louise and Banff, each of which are sold as "flavors" on their website.
The canisters also come with a specially designed cap that allows for direct inhalation.
The company is looking to expand their market to all sorts of people, including students, mothers, athletes and the elderly.
And with this kind of abstract, sensory ad, I think they actually have a chance of attracting an organic-crazed, Whole Foods-type audience. Or they can just count on the same popularity that bottled water had considering it's now the second most popular commercial beverage in the U.S.
