This College Love Story Will Make You Want To Delete Tinder Immediately
They found love in a Snapchat place.
Finding love in college is one of the most stressful—yet aspirational—parts of the university experience. Thanks to apps like Tinder, Bumble, Hinge and Happn, getting in contact with a potential significant other has never been easier. However, the phrase "Tinder nightmare" calls to mind very specific situations for a reason.
Two students at the University of Wisconsin-Madison didn't rely on a left or right swipe to find one another. Instead, their local UWM Snapchat Story brought them together. This couple had the entire campus rooting for them, turning a simple snap story into a once-in-a-lifetime love story for the ages.
It all started with "Memorial Library Girl," who saw "Viking Jersey Boy" on the UWM Snapchat story and decided to add her own video to let him know she had a crush on him.
Within a few hours, he responded and asked that she meet him at the Wisconsin Institute for Discovery at 8:30.
She never expected a reply, so she missed his message. She told him (and the rest of campus) that she'd send an update about where she ended up that night.
"Memorial Library Girl" was spotted at The KK, a local bar called The Kollege Klub.
"Now if this Viking dude does not go up and get this girl at The KK he is dumb as hell."
Viking Fan made it to The KK and they met!
There was happiness and dancing all across campus.
Congrats to the happy (hopefully) couple!
Seriously, they're super cute together. I ship it.
Love is real! Hope is alive! Check out the full Snapchat story here to see how these two total strangers made their campus believe in love.
