Disney Channel Is Planning A Trip To 1997 For Your Memorial Day Weekend
After all this time, Disney's still looking out for us millennials.
Yes, you do have Memorial Day weekend plans, and they're to watch Disney original movies until your brain melts from hours of sheer bliss.
In celebration of its 100th Disney Channel Original Movie (DCOM), Disney is serving up a four day weekend of non-stop OG Disney Movies.
These are the classics that defined our generation! Since "Under Wraps" in '97, Disney Original Movies have been teaching the values of self-expression ("Cadet Kelly," duh), believing in yourself (thanks, "High School Musical"), and true friendship (lookin' at you, "Brink"). We have so many fond memories of the films that made us the winning generation we are today.
Here are just a FEW of the favorites we can't wait to re-watch:
1. Zenon: Girl of the 21st Century
Zetus Lapetus! Zenon and Nebula will be beaming back into our lives. But TBH we're more excited about seeing Proto Zoa and his beautiful iced tips.
2. Cadet Kelly
Grab the tissues, because the waterworks begin when Ren acts like a total B to her.
2. Brink
So you can feel weird about still having a crush on Erik von Detten after all these years.
3. The Even Stevens Movie
Can't wait to see Shia LaBeouf pre-mental breakdown.
4. Halloweentown
We'll take Halloween any day of the year, especially when it comes in the form of a Disney Original flick.
5. Smart House
Can't wait to see how much Smart House resembles...everyone's house nowadays.
Here's the full sitch on the Memorial weekend schedule. Mark your calendars now!
