eBay Shut Down Bidding On This Bag Of Air From Kobe Bryant's Last Game
Don't buy air online, OK?
What's the difference between the air you're breathing right now and the air inside this bag? About $15,300 and nothing else.
Someone decided to put this bag of air, supposedly from Kobe Bryant's final game, up on eBay. Complex reported that the bag had a starting bid of $1, which might be reasonable, if the bag is a good quality.
While it may have STARTED at a dollar, it certainly didn't stay there for long.
That's right, there was an all-out BIDDING WAR for some nitrogen and oxygen.
Eventually, eBay realized what we all know already: that a bag of air is a ridiculous thing to sell, and took it down.
On one hand, thank god...but on the other, if some crazy person wants to spend $16,000 on a bag of air, maybe we should let them? This feels like a natural selection thing, IMO.
While you can't purchase the bag of air anymore, I hope you'll be interested in this dirt that Michael Jordan walked on in a park I was at one time.
I'll even throw in a bag to keep it in for the highest bidder.
