The Pop Gods Have Answered Prayers: Britney Spears' New Single Drops Soon
Gimme, gimme, gimme more Brit. #B9, get ready.
You know all is right in the word when Britney Jean is making music again.
Brit Brit's continuing her reign as pop queen at her Las Vegas show, and now it also looks like we're getting another piece of her with a brand new single. And if we're lucky, we'll get it VERY, VERY SOON.
The Las Vegas Sun reports Britney has finally decided the first single off of her upcoming ninth studio album. RAISE YOUR HAND IF YOU'RE ALREADY IN LOVE. Everyone? OK, cool—because in addition to the single, Britney will reportedly shoot the music video on April 18.
What we're saying is, Britney is back, bitch.
This is just what America needs.
The brand new single is called *drumroll* "Make Me (Oooh)."
The single will reportedly, "thrill fans because it's all new, totally different and somewhat unexpected," a source tells The Sun. "It's different; it's a turn. She's gone from pretty straight-forward pop to a really interesting vibe with a lot of really cool stuff."
If all goes as planned, #B9, which is still untitled, will arrive a month after "Make Me (Oooh)'s" release.
CAN'T WAIT.
Can we expect another iconic Godney video.?
And more importantly, can we bring back the red leather suit, please?
Since Brit Brit is slated to perform in Vegas until April 22 and the show doesn't start again until mid-June, this means the single HAS to drop Mid-May, right?!
The Britney Army is already prepping for some #B9 magic.
In fact, it's giving everyone an excuse to get up in the morning.
Just a few more weeks (*crosses fingers*) until we're blessed with more Britney and WE CAN HARDLY WAIT.
