Sexist 'Star Wars' Fans Are Pissed That Girls Can Lead Deadly Missions, Too
Why yes, there's a new badass female heroine in town and she's gonna SLAY.
Star Wars fans were #blessed with the "Rogue One" trailer today, and most of us can collectively agree that it. Looks. AWESOME.
Perhaps the greatest thing about "Rogue One" is badass leading lady Felicity Jones, who plays the mysterious Jyn Erso.

In the film, Erso leads a mission to steal plans for the Death Star before the Emperor can take over. While there are definitely questions about who exactly Erso is, it's already a given that she's a complete boss and is—obvi—capable of taking charge.
But of course, since the Internet is a haven for sexist assholes, some of the comments about Erso/Jones are THA WORST.
This guy called it from the beginning. Clearly, people just can't handle her awesomeness.
Right, because Hollywood is JUST making "Star Wars" for men's viewing pleasure. *SMDH*
GO HOME.
Hey @OurWorldIsNuts, rebellions DO have females in charge. Did you even watch the trailer, bruh??
But as this gal deftly pointed out, we need to just tune out everyone who can't appreciate the slay-worthy mission that Erso will lead.
But don't worry. Feminists—men included—shouted-out the "badass female action" as seen in the trailer, and also point out that it's "cool" to see a woman kick ass in a "Star Wars" role.
Some are comparing Erso to another strong female heroine, "The Hunger Games' " Katniss Everdeen, and TBH the resemblance is pretty uncanny.
Anyway, anyone who can't appreciate Jones in this role probs isn't a true "Star Wars" fan, because this might will be the best film in the franchise yet.
