This Rocking Chair Is For Anyone Who Doesn't Want To Bother Learning To Knit
So much easier than those YouTube tutorials you've been meaning to watch.
Just like regular sitting, but more productive!
I know, I know, you've been meaning to learn how to knit. Your sister made those really neat scarves last Christmas and no one seemed impressed by your gift cards. Fear no more, lazy bones! Swiss designers Damien Ludi and Colin Peillex have introduced the Rocking Knit, a rocking chair that knits a hat for you as you glide back and forth.
This guy gets it.
Sure, you have functioning hands, but there are so many other things you could be doing with them! As you push the Rocking Knit back and forth with your feet, the gliding motion churns gears above your head. As the gears move, yarn is pulled up from a spool below the seat and fed into a knitting round. The final product is a bright red beanie á la Steve Zissou.
