My March Madness Picks Based On Anything But Basketball Skill: Round 2, Uniforms
Anyone can get into the March Madness spirit by filling out a tournament bracket. It's easy—especially if your bracket is based on stats that have nothing to do with actual skill! In Round 1, I pitted the original 64 teams against each other based on their mascots. For Round 2, I'm judging team uniforms!
If you feel so inspired, make your own unique bracket and enter it in my ESPN group .
Kansas vs. UConn

Kansas is sporting a fresh blue, and I appreciate the very matchy socks, as well.
Maryland vs. Hawaii

Both teams are rocking some pretty awesome geometric patterns, but the accent on Maryland's sleeves give them the edge here.
Wichita State vs. Miami

Miami's shorts take it for them. Love that staggered stripe.
Iowa vs. Villanova

While both white uniforms are fairly bland, I like Iowa's chevron accents.
Oregon vs. St. Joseph's

Oregon's rocking the highlighter yellow, and I'll give them the props they deserve.
Yale vs. Duke

Duke's electric blue stripe is a welcome surprise.
Northern Iowa vs. Texas A&M

Texas A&M has embraced color blocking, and I'm lovin' it.
VCU vs. Oklahoma

The hint of yellow is just enough to keep me interested in the VCU Rams' uniforms.
UNC vs. Providence

There's something about men in baby blue that I can get behind.
Indiana vs. Kentucky

Ombre checkered accents? Yes, please.
Notre Dame vs. SF Austin

Those purple uniforms are bold, and I like it.
Wisconsin vs. Xavier

Honestly, both uniforms are pretty uninteresting, but I like the nod to their mascot on Wisconsin's shorts.
UVA vs. Butler

In the battle of black and white, the guys in the white win out.
University of Arkansas - Little Rock vs. Iowa State

The red and yellow combo just makes me think of McDonald's, in a negative way. The maroon is much classier, anyway.
Gonzaga vs. Utah

"ZAGS" is clever.
Middle Tennessee vs. Syracuse

The Orange's orange accents are pretty predictable, but they're still the winners mainly because they know how to properly size a uniform.
