This Hungry Seal Visits A Restaurant 3 Times A Day For A Delicious Meal
This restaurant's most loyal customer might just be a seal.
This little restaurant in Wicklow Ireland is a local favorite -- for humans and wildlife alike.
The Lighthouse Seafood Restaurant's most loyal customer may actually be Sammy the seal, who generally visits the shop three times a day.
Sammy jumps from the water and carefully drags himself across the street on a strict schedule at 9am, 1pm and 4pm each day.
While seals generally eat about 20 pounds of food every day, the restaurant feeds him about 6.
But Sammy continues to visit and has been since they opened in 2012
The owners have even posted signs to explain Sammy's unusual habits
Understandably, he has become somewhat of a local legend and has recently been bringing a lady seal with him too (on seal dates, we assume)
Restaurant workers say that when Sammy brings his girlfriend, he stands back and lets her eat first. "He's a proper gentlemen," they explain.
After they feed Sammy, he tends to stick around (he really should be their spoke-seal) so workers have to shoo him back to the water, but he's always back for more a few hours later.
