You'll Be Very Jealous Of This Woman's Adorable Therapy Raccoon
Betcha never heard of a therapy raccoon before
Meet Cody Rocket the Raccoon (yes this is his real name)
Cody belongs to Valentine, a 24-year-old who was diagnosed with chronic fatigue in her teens and later with connective tissue disorder.
She was told to quit her job because of her diagnoses and found herself lonely and bored at home.
This year, Valentine acquired Cody from a man who couldn't properly care for him and a beautiful friendship was born.
The two quickly bonded over cuddling, playing and lots of video games
Cody comforts Valentine as she naps and even takes walks with her, too
While raccoons are not meant to be kept as pets, Cody received special permission from government officials after Valentine wrote a moving letter to her local representative.
“Without him I would probably never leave the house, so he has been a huge confidence boost," Valentine said.
As Valentine has shared her story about Cody's therapeutic friendship, many other people suffering from similar conditions have reached out with their own stories and support for Valentine and Cody.
