Ladies, This Period App Will Make Your Time Of The Month Way More Tolerable

by N/A, 9 years ago | 1 min read

Now you can *sort of* get excited about that time of the month.

If there's one thing all ladies can agree on, it's that PERIODS ARE THE WORST.

The only thing we can do to combat it is to be extremely prepared for when all hell breaks loose down there.

We stock up on tampons, pads, chocolate, and basically buy the whole damn pharmacy while the clerk gives us that sympathetic look like, oh honey.

The period tracker app Monthly Gift might make things a whole lot easier for us - think of it like your personal butler during your time of need.

The service sends you all your period supplies in a "Little Black Box," which includes tampons, pads, liners, and if you so choose, CHOCOLATE.

Yup - no more late night walks to the pharmacy to satisfy your cocoa cravings, when everything is literally at your disposal.

All you do is enter when your period typically starts and ends, answer a quick questionnaire and you're ready to get started.

The basic version of the app that just sends reminders is free, but to get the full "Little Black Box" package, you pay a subscription fee between $10-13.

If you buy a box in March - Women's History Month - it goes to a great cause, too. The campaign, called A Box For Your Box in partnership with Days For Girls and Chloë Grace Moretz, will donate a box of supplies to women in need for every box bought.

“We believe all women have the right to feminine hygiene products and are so thrilled to partner with Days For Girls and to have the support of Chloë,” Kimmy Scotti, CEO and Founder of Monthly Gift said. “It is our mission to not only offer an accessible product, but also to raise awareness, educate and empower women about their own bodies and health.”

Let's make our periods (somewhat) tolerable AND donate to a great cause, too!

You can subscribe to the MonthlyGift app here.
