Bears: Dangerous Animals, Or Fluffy Balls Of Love And Affection?
They might not be so scary after all.
If you're anything like me, you probably have a healthy fear of bears.
It's only natural. They're large mammals and are often associated with the mauling of lost hikers and carefree campers. But I'm here to set the record straight: bears are extremely lovable creatures, and they're basically just gigantic puppies. See below for proof.
1. Just like puppies and toddlers, bears are adorably ill-coordinated and love to play with toys
2. All they really want is friendship
These two bear brothers spend just about every moment together and love playing.
3. They're really not so different from us
This is like a scene out of "Planet of the Apes." Can't you just picture the real bear lifting his hand up to the class and being able to muster the word "love" as he looks deeply into the eyes of his human friend?
4. They're super friendly
This seems to pretty much sum up the story of Goldilocks. Look at that friendly guy waving hello!
5. They'd probably enjoy playing a nice game of catch with you
Really though, bears love to wave. Either that, or they're trying to mime "away with you!"
6. They're adorably family-oriented
Just a mama bear overseeing her two cubs playing. And look, she's smiling. What a proud mama bear.
7. Did I mention they're totally adorable?
Just a real bear snuggling with his teddy bear. My heart is literally melting.
8. They're not so good at chilling, but they sure love to have a good time
Who wouldn't want to play with these little guys? I know I would. I probably wouldn't want them around while I'm trying to relax, though.
9. They've got a serious sweet tooth
There's a reason Winnie the Pooh is depicted as loving honey so much. These bears are nomming down on a combination of honey, milk, oatmeal and various other sweet noms.
10. Bears take great pride in their names
Humphrey is such a Humphrey.
11. Bears just can't get enough tree climbing
You know who else loves climbing trees? Every human child ever. Oh bears, you're just the cutest.
