Watch This Woman Throw Shade At A Reporter On Her 110th Birthday
Basically, she wants the reporter out of her face so she can take a nap.
Flossie Dickey is 110 years old and is basically over birthdays.
Birthdays are special. Everyone loves having a special day of the year in which you feel like a king or a queen. Unless you're Flossie Dickey.
After you've had 110 special days, I imagine they begin to feel a bit rote and lose their "special" luster. Combine that lack of excitement with the privilege most seniors have of speaking without a filter, and you've got a recipe for some hilarity.
When Flossie Dickey turned 110, the local news in Spokane, Washington paid her a visit.
Dickey, wishing she could just be left alone with her coffee rather than constantly being reminded of how decrepit and old she is, instantly threw shade at the reporter.
Literally the first thing Dickey says on camera is "I am tired." Which, as we all know, is code for "leave me alone."
You just know Flossie Dickey has to be 110 years old because nobody's named a baby "Flossie" in like 109 years.
Dickey just really wanted to take a nap (who doesn't?) and just stopped answering the reporter's questions after a while.
Of course, the reporter doesn't get the hint. Like, "I'm 110, what do you expect?"
The greatest shade-throwing moment of the interview, however, was when the reporter asked Dickey if she was excited for her birthday party.
Dickey, perhaps predictably, said, "not one bit." Damn. She's got some sass for a great great grandmother.
Flossie Dickey, you are my idol.
Throwin' shade for a century and a decade.
