People Are Doing Trap Covers Of Pop Songs, And It's Spectacular
Pop music needed this.
You know what pop music needs a little more of? TRAP COVERS.
The hashtag #TrapCover started as a reaction to an overwhelming amount of acoustic covers of Beyonce's "Formation" and Rihanna's "Work," because people thought they were a little, um, lame.
In a nutshell:
So, people are turning famous pop songs into spectacular trap covers, and honestly, some of them are better than the original. This guy's take on Queen's "Bohemian Rapsody" is incredible.
"A Thousand Miles" in trap version is fantastic.
Um, can this guy do an entire trap cover of the "Frozen" soundtrack?
Bet you've never heard "I'll Make A Man Out Of You" from Mulan quite like this before.
Some ventured into covering TV show theme songs, like this "Friends" one that's SO GOOD.
Here's the "Golden Girls" theme song gone trap.
"She Will Be Loved" by Maroon 5 turns the sad love jam into something a little more traptastic.
Nirvana's angsty "Smells Like Teen Spirit" gets the full-on trap makeover.
"Hello" has been covered a million times, but nothing quite like this.
This might even be just as great as Wiz Khalifa's "Hello" stoner ballad.
All of the covers are *spicing up your life,* but especially this one.
BRB, jamming out to all of these.
