Sephora is Releasing a Hair Care Line Inspired by a Major Beauty Icon
This is an awesome step toward making beauty products accessible to everyone.
Beauty retailer Sephora is going to release Madam C.J. Walker Beauty Culture, a hair care line inspired by one of the creators of modern beauty products and the first self-made female millionaire.
Walker, born Sarah Breedlove, created a scalp conditioner in the 1900s that didn't contain a lot of abrasive ingredients which were popular at the time. This later led to the development of a collection of hair and beauty products for black women.
The line, which is made by Sundial Brands, will be sold exclusively at Sephora and will address specific needs like curl maintenance and moisture. There will also be different products for a variety of hair types and textures.
You can shop the collection starting March 4!
