Kanye Calls Himself 'The Most Important Living Artist' In New Twitter Rant
New day, new Yeezy rant.
It all started on Feb. 23 with this.
*That moment when you realize Kanye is about to lose it on Twitter for the millionth time*
This is Bob Ezrin. He's a music producer and keyboardist known for his work with Lou Reed, Pink Floyd, Peter Gabriel and Phish.
According to Kanye, he doesn't know anything about rap.
Ezrin wrote a critical review of Kanye's music, calling it unmemorable compared to other rappers Jay Z and Tupac.
Because he's no one in music, apparently.
He took a dig at Bob's kids, which is interesting, because at least according to his Wikipedia page, Bob doesn't have children.
But at least his maybe non-existent children get free Yeezys out of it?!
Clearly, Kanye thinks no one else measures up to him, especially not nice people.
So basically, he doesn't even want to see Bob again, ever.
Yeezy had something to say the night before this rant as well
He also took this (not so) subtle dig at Taylor Swift, who has been consistently awarded for her music while his was ignored.
After his Twitter rant, he actually called her out in one of his concerts, leading people to believe he was in fact, talking about Taylor.
That's pop culture's fault though.
Is this you right now? Don't worry, it gets better.
The next day, Feb. 24, he decided his topic of the day is... what else... the Grammys!
We all remember when Kanye announced that he had seen Justin Timberlake cry during his VMAs speech.
It's all about *feelings* for Kanye.
Aaaand then he claims he's "the most important living artist" so the Grammys BETTER BE LISTENING TO THIS.
Are you listening, Grammys?!
Are you?!
It's not just about fixing the show for himself (sure), but for other deserving artists...
He wanted everyone to know that if he were running the Grammys, things would be different.
He's in it for the people.
Oh wait, he's serious.
So here's his plan:
You may be thinking "why him? Why is Kanye the one to change the Grammys?" Well...
You didn't think he was crazy, did you??
He shows us his vulnerable side, like casually announcing he's $53 million in debt.
He may be broke, but he's free!
And he loves us!
New philosophical thought of the day:
Guys, Kanye loves himself! Thank god! We were v. worried about his self-esteem!
Oh, btw he's dropping a new album soon.
So to recap, here's what you learned:
He also came up with this insanely original idea:
But then concluded with this, seeming to go back on the whole point of his rant in the first place:
Go to bed Kanye.
BUT WAIT! Neil Portnow, the president of the Grammys sent this message to Kanye, so maybe it'll all work out!
