Drinking Wine Helped This Man Live to 107
What's that sound? Just my car starting up as I rush to the liquor store.
If your New Year’s resolution of eating healthy and working out isn’t panning out how you thought, stop what you’re doing and drink wine instead.
Yes, really. This man, Antonio Docampo Garcia (AKA your new hero) consumed a total of four bottles of wine a day and lived to be 107 years old, according to his son Manuel Docampo Lopez.
Manuel spoke to his local paper about his father's long life, revealing that he could drink a liter and a half of the grapey goodness all at once. “When we were both at home, we could get through 200 liters of wine in a month," he said. "He never drank water."
I'm no mathematician, but 200 liters is just under 53 gallons. Yes, gallons.
Manuel's father owned a vineyard in a Spanish town called Ribadavia, and downed two bottles of wine at lunch and two at dinner.
We can only imagine how great dinner parties at his house were.
So basically, wine is the magic recipe to making us all live longer.
It’s not proven that drinking wine will extend your lifespan, but it does provide plenty of health benefits.
Still not convinced? Well...
Maybe DJ Khaled should add this to his keys to more success.
