Taronga Zoo in Sydney just welcomed some new baby meerkats, and they're absolutely too cute.
It had been nearly seven years since a meerkat pup was born at the Taronga Zoo in Sydney. But in January, old Mr. Stork delivered two pint-sized meerkat newborns to new parents Nairobi and Maputo.
That's right, TWO of these cute things.
At time of writing, the sex of the meerkats isn't known with certainty, but it's thought that one is a boy...
...and the other is a girl!
The boy is a little bigger, and the girl is most certainly a mama's girl.
The two pups were shy at first, but after some coaxing, they left the nest and began exploring their habitat.
The meerkats belong to the African exhibit (obviously) at Taronga Zoo, and they already seem to be adjusting nicely.
They're just so adorable.
Wouldn't you love to hold one of them, or maybe both?
They're not named yet, but they should be soon.
