This Artist Gave Disney Princesses a Spooky Tim Burton-Esque Twist

Los Angeles-based artist Andrew Tarusov has always loved Disney

But he wanted to reimagine the beloved animated films with a dark twist

So, he took inspiration from Tim Burton and recreated the movie posters of some of our favorite movies

All of your favorite characters are just a bit darker and feature widened eyes and exaggerated limbs

"I don’t know how the idea came up," he told Mashable. "It just happened and I began to draw immediately! It’s all drawn by pencil on paper and then colored in Photoshop on my computer."

Tarusov, who is originally from Rybinsk, Russia, studied art and animation for 10 years and has worked on projects for Cosmopolitan, Maxim and Rolling Stone.
