A Piglet Got Lost In The Blizzard. Here's The Story Of Its Recovery
Perry Smith was driving out in the blizzard with his son when he found an abandoned piglet, and their story is outrageously cute.
It was around 10 at night, just after the massive blizzard that hit the east coast.
Here, Perry Smith's daughter is cradling the newly-rescued little guy. Clearly, the weather was pretty brutal on him.
Fact: swaddling a piglet like a baby is the best way to nurse a piglet. Warm baths, food, and a little TLC also help.
He was running around, playing, and being generally cute, like a li'l piglet should be.
He's a very trusting little piglet. Which is good, because it looks like a very kind family took him in.
It looks like he acts pretty much like a dog, and that's very adorable.
The Smith's homeowners' association considers pigs to be livestock, and keeping livestock doesn't fly in their neighborhood.
Thankfully, the animal sanctuary won't send Wee Wee to market, so he's got a full life of doing pig stuff ahead of him!
