These Workers Were Told To Decorate Their Desks, So They Built A Castle
Raise the drawbridge. Man the turrets. This is war.
Unless you're a professional puppy-petter, in which case, screw you.
If not, then you probably know the stresses of a demanding workplace just as well as anyone else.
The team elaborated on the company's blog that everyone was instructed to decorate their desks creatively to beat post-Christmas, post-New Years “January blues.” So decorate they did...and then some.
“Being the creative team, we decided we needed to do something special,” they wrote.
They built the majestic structure entirely out of scrap cardboard, which ended up taking them pretty much all night.
On a week night, too. That's dedication.
All in all, it took them roughly 9 hours to complete, and they used 500 pieces of cardboard and 80 hot glue gun sticks. Again...dedication.
Intended as a surprise, the Viking creative team didn't inform anyone of their medieval shenanigans. So when their coworkers came in the next morning, they were sure to capture their reactions.
One guy apparently found it funny, while everyone else was just silently judging them.
They came, they saw, they cardboarded.
And the few who weren't were consumed with fear and fled hurriedly into isolation.
Or they'll "be having words." Oooooooooooo!!! Is that supposed to scare them bossman??
Actually, it probably did. A cardboard castle isn't worth losing your job over.
