This Dog Is Now Instagram Famous For His Epic Outdoor Adventures

For Aspen "The Mountain Pup," life is good.

Meet, Aspen, a 4-year-old Golden Retriever with a knack for adventure.

Or as he's known on Instagram,, "Aspen the Mountain Pup." And a mountain pup he is, through and through.

Aspen's owner, Hunter Lawrence, adopted him when he was just six weeks old.

Since then, it's been nothing but adventure and exploration for the pair.

Now joined by Lawrence's wife, the three go camping, hiking, kayaking, canoeing and pretty much any other outdoor activity you can think of, all throughout the Western U.S.

And they do it all together.

And as you can see, Aspen couldn't be happier.

Rain or shine, he's just excited to be alive and go on adventures with his two favorite humans.

Mountain swag for days.

FOR DAYYYYYYYS.

Of course, he doesn't mind the occasional photo op every now and again. Ya know, to keep the Instagram followers happy.

Which, as of recently, are up to more than 100,000.

Aspen clearly follows the road less traveled.

He just packs up his gear and seizes the day.

So far, Aspen's been to eight different states, and he very much intends on growing that list.

For now, he's just living in the moment and savoring each adventure with his two best pals by his side.

After all, he is only 21 (in dog years). He's got plenty of time to knock off the other 42 states. Well, the ones worth camping in, that is.
