Is Anyone Sad These 1990s Trends Disappeared? I Doubt It
How did these fade?? THEY WERE SO COOL.

They lit up when you walked, for Chrissake. What else do you want them to do, provide ankle support???
2. Starter jackets

There's a reason you can hardly find these bad boys in thrift stores - no one's giving them away.
3. "Baja" hoodies

How the concept of sleeveless drug rugs didn't survive more than a few years is beyond me. Like, California, what happened? This shit was your bread and butter.
4. Anything by "Bugle Bo."

Pretty sure half of their lines were Jackson Pollock inspired.
5. "JNCO" Jeans

Mom and Dad were wrong. These are STILL cool as hell. And they were absolutely perfect for activities and stuff. Hell, they were a perfect collision of fashion and function.
6. Bowl cuts

Popularized by Leo in "What's Eating Gilbert Grape."
7. Bowl cuts split right down the goddamn middle

Bowl cuts, but somehow cooler. Somehow...
8. "Hard Rock Cafe" shirts

When you go to Orlando with your parents, people need to know.
9. Overalls

More specifically, bleached overalls with one strap unbuttoned. Because two-strappin' is for sheep. And you're not a sheep.
10. Brightly colored rave garb

Er, wait...that's still a thing. Never mind, we're good on this one.
11. Waistband-less jeans

The zipper's the only thing holdin' them up and you know that gets you goin'.
12. Multicolored hemp bracelets

For all we know, they might still very well be a thing in some circles. The question is, why aren't more working class professionals rocking them? So confused.
14. Patterned vests

They were chic, they were bold. They were PATTERNIZED. Ugh, the PATTERNS.
13. Wallet chains

They weren't just badass, they were PRACTICAL. How many times have you lost your wallet since 2000? Yeah, exactly.
15. "Hypercolor" shirts

That whole color changing business definitely didn't stop working after the first wash. Nope, definitely not.
16. Ridiculously oversized hats

BRING. THEM. BACK. BRING EVERYTHING BACK. Fashion is nothing without the 90s' fashionable af fingerprint, clearly.
