If You Use This Brand Of Lip Balm, Here's A Horrifying Reason To Stop

by N/A, 9 years ago | 1 min read

Lip balm? More like Napalm.

wtf Beauty Health Ewww photos Products dermatology Non-Premium

Rachel Cronin has serious beef with EOS lip balm after noticing some seriously horrible side effects.

The former EOS user is filing a class action lawsuit against the company, claiming their product caused a number of adverse reactions, including "mild to severe rashes, dryness, bleeding, blistering, cracking, and loss of pigmentation." Not necessarily what you look for in a lip balm.

EOS has been promoted by a number of celebrities and praised in countless beauty blogs, so Cronin's case is a surprise to many.

Miley Cyrus has promoted the lip balm a number of times...
And even Kimmy K has vocalized her love of the product.
But apparently some people's skin responds differently to EOS than others, because Cronin's side effects were a little more than concerning.
They were...well, they were bad. Real bad.
*Shudders*

Cronin's attorney Mark Geragos, who's including these images in case filing, is seeking significant damages on Cronin's behalf, calling for a change in the company's advertising to reflect the potential for the side effects exhibited by his client.

But Cronin isn't alone in her woes. Others have experienced some of the same side effects from EOS.

Some almost immediately.

Looks like EOS has a serious problem on their hands. As for a statement from the company? Their lips are sealed...for now.
