Gather a group and see who can find the most expensive item, the least expensive item, the weirdest food product etc., you can selectively purchase these items, but the journey is pretty much all the fun anyway, right?
11. Go for apps and zerts
Take a tip from our favorite lexicon master and food critic, Tom Haverford, and enjoy a variety of appetizers and desserts. Choose a new restaurant you've never been to and order a few of each to share, or migrate from a few nearby restaurants and try a unique app or zert at each place!
12. Attend an Open Mic Night
No matter where you live, there is local talent trying to break out. Whether you prefer poetry, music, or comedy, check out a small local coffee shop or bar for an Open Mic night and find your new local favorite, and who knows, maybe you'll be inspired to take up a new hobby, too!
13. Explore a thrift shop
You could always use a little trinket or some awesome vintage clothing finds, see what treasures you can find that fit right into your tight budget. You could even make it a contest with friends -- who can find the "best" thrifting item in 20 minutes!

15. Build a fort
Test out your childhood architectural and design skills and pitch a fort for tons of fun. Be sure to add lots of pillows and blankets to make it extra cozy!
Or whatever store offers those heavenly free samples locally. See if you can construct a whole meal from just samples, and if you fail, there's always pizza and pretzels in the back!
No, you don't have to be drunk to enjoy karaoke, gather up your confidence and a group of friends and belt out your favorite Beyonce hit. And if you're really anxious, there are often karaoke bars that offer private rooms, so then you're only subjected to the loving teasing of your own squad.
Just like music and comedy, there are probably great un-found talents in your area, as well. And if you don't live in a city, sometimes the tiny small town museums telling the hyper-interesting story of the gazebo's construction are the most entertaining anyway.
Sure, you can go for the old-school classics like Monopoly or Scrabble (try using only "adult vocabulary" or another category the words have to fall into) or check out newer group games like Settlers of Catan, Ticket to Ride (though I'd recommend the European version) or Pandemic.
Sure, that one weird kid in 6th grade was obsessed with it, but give laser tag another try, the competition and pumping music is quite fun, actually!
21. Go to a beer or wine tasting
Learn what you like at a professional tasting, or host your own at home and have each friend bring their favorite drink.
You need to brush up on your wedding-style dancing anyway, and it's a great way to meet people if you don't go with a partner!
