This Guy Has Mastered The Art Of The All You Can Eat Buffet
The adage "Your eyes are bigger than your stomach" is thrown around in frequent beats of time to implement a little laughter into a dinner party when one guest decided to pile their plate far too high, beyond what they could consume. Well, as true as that may be, sometimes a person knows exactly what they want, and how much of it they want. That type of person is exactly the type of person a buffet has been designed to please.
Enter this young man. He approaches what appears to be a delicious Asian noodle dish. Being it's a buffet, he serves himself.
So far, everything seems as it should be. Buffet customer is serving himself, and can take as much as he wants. Even if it turns at that his "eyes are bigger than his stomach," that's fine, because it's a buffet and you're allowed to make these types of mistakes.
And, from that fairly large pile of noodles, it would appear he may be headed toward becoming that very cliché. He's not willing to risk having to come back for seconds it seems.
And honestly, can you blame him? When it comes to buffets, it's hard to know when you've gotten exactly as much as you want, because the makeup of the situation points toward over consumption. But, that's when things take a slightly different turn. What he was taking wasn't meant for him.
What he took was what he was willing to leave behind for all the other buffet patrons. What he wanted was the portion on the serving tray.
Maybe his eyes are "bigger than his stomach" or maybe this guy just knows how much he loves those delicious Asian noodles. In all actuality, this the most honest trip to a buffet that has ever occurred in human history. Nobody ever feels happy with what they solemnly walk back to their table with. They regret having not gotten more, even if they won't be able to finish it all. This guy just saved himself that personal embarrassment, and for that reason, he is a hero.
You can watch this devious buffet thief in action here, and learn how to pull off this very maneuver yourself next time you find yourself contemplating your buffet serving size.
