The Tourism Industry of This 100 Person Town is Growing Thanks to Street Art
I think it's safe to say nothing in Brim, Australia is competing for attention with Guido van Helten's epic mural.
Australian street artist Guido van Helten likes to paint.
So when he approached the people of Brim, a town of no more than 100 people, about using a few of their silos as his canvas, they didn't object.
It took van Helten and his team weeks of incessant painting to complete the massive creation, which, when all was said and done, spanned nearly 100 feet tall and 120 feet wide.
And as one might expect, it's officially put Brim on the map.
After the mural received a healthy dose of press, both locally and internationally, tourists and Aussies alike have begun passing through the tiny town to behold van Helten and his team's incredible creation.
