Watch As This Baby Elephant Discovers Its Own Trunk For The First Time
Visiting the Chai Lai Eco Lodge in Chiang Mai, Thailand, one lucky spectator witnessed a baby elephant grappling with the question: "WHAT ON EARTH IS THIS THING HANGING FROM MY FACE?!"
Then, the left leg. "WTF IS THIS?! How does this thing wrap around my legs? What am I supposed to use this for? HELLO? CAN SOMEBODY EXPLAIN THIS TO ME, PLEASE?!"
That's when a parental elephant figure comes swaying in, as if to show off how these things work. However, the baby elephant is unfazed by the advice.
You can watch this baby elephant's entire existential trunk crisis here:
Poor thing just wants to know why this long appendage is hanging from its face. Or, maybe this whole thing was just this elephant trying desperately to get an itch, itched? Maybe it had a little, dare I say, junk in its trunk.
