The Stars Of The New "Rocky Horror Picture Show" Have Been Announced
Fox's remake of the cult classic Rocky Horror Picture Show has found its new Janet, Brad, Riff Raff and Rocky!
Former Nickelodeon star Victoria Justice, who recently starred in MTV's Eye Candy, will continue tackling more adult roles as she is set to star as Janet in RHPS. She'll be replacing Susan Sarandon, which means we'll get to hear her sing the iconic "Touch-a, Touch-a, Touch Me." Woo!
Ryan McCartan may be known for his role as Diggie on Liv and Maddie, but he also starred in Heathers: The Musical as bad boy J.D. McCarton will be playing Janet's boyfriend, formerly played by Barry Bostwick, who is also seduced by Frank.
Reeve Carney, who played Spiderman in Spiderman: Turn Off the Dark on Broadway and recently starred in Penny Dreadful, will be taking on the creepy butler role formerly played by Richard O'Brien. Yup, he's the one that will teach Brad and Janet to "Time Warp!"
Hello, stud. Staz Nair, who will be in the upcoming season of Game of Thrones, will be starring as Rocky Horror, formerly played by Peter Hinwood. You're already picturing him in golden underwear, aren't you?
The amazing Laverne Cox, best known for her role on Orange Is the New Black, is set to play mad-scientist Dr. Frank-N. Furter. Cox was one the first people to be cast in the film, but there was some controversy surrounding her role, as Frank is usually played by a male actor (Tim Curry played Frank in the original film). However, the character is known to be pretty gender fluid. Plus, is there any role Cox isn't amazing in?
