Cats are, with no scientific research, about 99% of the Internet. That's totally fine because most of that content is simply cats being overly adorable to the point people can't handle it and just have to share it with the world. Well, that trend has taken a slightly different turn with 10 Cats. latest YouTube video: a cat wearing a monkey costume and mimicking a monkey's actions by licking a banana. Sound funny to you? In theory, yes. In reality, it's a nightmarish image.

Here's this furry feline getting increasingly frustrated from the fruit being offered up. It appears to be trying to ignore the fact that it's in a monkey costume having a banana shoved in its face.

The thing that is going to keep me awake at night, however, is thinking about that little kitten head sticking out of that monkey costume. The fact that it perfectly fits in there and almost looks natural, yet completely abnormal is a total mind-bender. But, I digress, because the monkey has given in.

It takes the banana and sheepishly decides it has no power in the matter, and should start pretending to be a monkey.

However, you can still see the distraught look on the poor little cat's face. Most likely, it is wondering to itself:

"How did I let myself get to this place in life? Why am I letting this pathetic display continue on? What's wrong with me? Should I lick this banana and give them what they want? Should I give in to the entertainment of these people?"

The conclusion? The cat decides licking the banana is worth it, and now I may not ever sleep straight through the night again.

Can you honestly look at this without wondering if that is in fact a real monkey-cat hybrid? I certainly cannot, and the thought of it is something I may not ever be able to shake.

I gotta say, after watching this I've got a funny, dare I say it, feline about the world right now.
