You might've thought you were a LEGO master as a kid, but the incredible creations in Mike Doyle's recent book, Beautiful LEGO: Wild!, will have you thinking otherwise.
By now, most of us have seen our fair share of crazy LEGO creations. But the ones you'll find in Doyle's "Beautiful LEGO: Wild!" are unlike anything else out there.
From mindblowlingly detailed natural scenes...
To 3,500 piece sea otters, Doyle's book features some of the most elaborate and impressive LEGO creations out there.
Some of them are smaller in size...
While others are constructed to match the full scale of their subjects.
But regardless of how big or small they are, each work is nonetheless mesmerizingly detailed.
Doyle even includes a few of his own LEGO masterpieces in his book, which more than compete with the quality and execution of the other creations.
This, one of his more recent pieces, titled Appalachian Mountaintop Removal, is a work composed of more than 10,000 pieces that directly references the environmental issue of mountaintop removal - an extremely detrimental mining process in the Appalachian Mountains that poisons aquifers and permanently damages surrounding wildlife.
To learn more about it, you can visit Doyle's blog, or pick up his book here.
