What Happens When This Guy Pours Molten Aluminum Into A Tank Of Water Beads Is Unreal

Who says science can't and art can't be friends?
The Backyard Scientist, as he's known on YouTube, strongly disagrees after seeing what molten aluminum does in a tank full of water beads.
First, he takes special water polymer beads, which absorb nearly 200 times their weight in water, and fills an aquarium with roughly 10,000 of them.
Then after melting his aluminum, he pours it into the tank full of water beads.
After nearly destroying his GoPro, he waits a few minutes and removes the solidified aluminum.
The result? Super gnarly, coral-looking abstract art!
Naturally, he performed the experiment several more times, because why not?
Also, can we take a moment to appreciate his shirt of Spongebob and Patrick riding a cat through the galaxy? Pure gold.
By the end of it all, he had a full blown repertoire of super badass, super unique aluminum-coral-art.
